The sixth generation of the Camaro and the special edition Camaro Fifty were launched in an event that combined speed and content.

The national launch of the New Camaro, held in October 2016 at Autodromo Velo Città in Mogi Guaçu, Brazil, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the model with a special edition, the Camaro Fifty.

Aimed at the Seltivo audience, it was attended by the president of GM Brazil, Carlos Zarlenga, the marketing director, Hermann Mahnke, and more executives in the areas of product, engineering and design.

The car reveal

Took place in the pits with a 30-meter wide LED display where the whole powerful story of the Camaro was showed. With the presentation of Flávia Alessandra and Otaviano Costa and the participation of Stock Car drivers Átila Abreu and Ricardo Maurício, who also made fast laps on the track.

We had 3 content areas:

  • Design and Content Space (a collector's garage with three classic models and Chevrolet Design team)
  • Performance Space and Engineering (in the Visualization Tower with the Product Marketing team)
  • Test- drive on the track with the versions Coupe 2017, Convertible 2017 and Camaro Fifty.

The first batch with 100 Camaros was sold in 1 week!
